Between Two Tides: Dance Film and Documentary
In May 2024, at low-tide on Easington Beach in South Holderness, students and researchers from the University of Hull shared a time-specific performance that explored the unique entanglement of the transient geography and human occupancy on the ever-shifting South Holderness coast.
Between Two Tides utilised a choreographic, eco-scenographic and spoken-word approach to explore the rapid transformations of a site that are geological, social and environmental.
I was involved in this project as the editor of the Documentary as well as contributing additional camera work to the Documentary and it’s corresponding performance alongside DoP Andy Little and Director Stewart Baxter. Both films were produced by Hinterland Creative with support from Hull University, UKRI Higher Education Innovation Fund, and Ferens Educational Trust.

Wild Camps: A Research Project On Connecting Young People From Urban Areas With Nature
This short film was co-created with young people and presents some of the findings from our participatory action research project which explored the impact that nature immersion experience on a 5 day Wild Camp with Rewilding Youth had on them.
I was brought on this project to provide additional camera work and to deliver the project as an Online/Finishing Editor. Ensuring that the final video was ready for broadcast with a consistent narrative, balanced audio levels, consistent colour grade throughout and that subs, titles and graphics were placed correctly.

Birds on the Edge - ARCADE in Partnership with The North York Moors National Park Trust
Birds on The Edge was a project by ARCADE that worked in partnership with The North York Moors National Park Trust & The Pupil Referral Service to unite young people with nature through a creative, artist led project.
Young people were mentored by hip hop artist Steve Arnott from The Beats Bus Hull; Musician and Producer Yssi Wombwell, Sound Artist, Musician and Photographer Stew Baxter and supported by Myself to write, record, film and edit their own pieces of work.
My role in this project was to work with, and help the young people create visuals such as Music Videos or Short Films to accompany the Music and Spoken word they created with their Mentors. I also edited together this video to showcase the project as a whole.
